What is Fate Core

Fate Core is a generic role-playing game (RPG) system made by Evil Hat Productions. Unlike many RPGs, players do not get to pick anything off a list to build their characters -- most everything gets to be determined using Aspects. Powers, called Stunts, get to be designed by the players, too. It's a very flexible system that can be a little hard to start off from, but promises a more fulfilling RP gaming experience. Due to this flexibility, game-masters can run virtually any game they can envision with the system --steampunk, sci-fi, fantasy dungeon crawl -- you name it, you can build and run it.
